National Workshop

      



        TWO DAY NATIONAL WORKSHOP

IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) of PTM COLLEGE OF EDUCATION organised a two day national workshop on RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: SHARPENING YOUR SKILLS in collaboration with ALL INDIA ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH on 8/2/2024 and 9/2/2024. 

First Day (8/2/2024) 

The day began with an inauguration ceremony . It was my duty to anchor the morning inauguration section. 

Prof . Dr. V. Reghu , the Vice President of ALL INDIA ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH inaugurated the national workshop by kindling the lamp and delivering a speech.After felicitation by every other guests , we moved on to the academic section. 


Panel Discussion 

The topic of the morning session Panel discussion was : FUNDAMENTALS OF RESEARCH . The members of Panel discussion were,

1. Dr. Issac Paul, Assistant Professor, Govt. College of Education, Thiruvananthapuram

2. Prof.(Dr.) Rajeswari K., Professor and Head, Department of Research and

Development, NVKSD College of Education(Autonomous), Attoor

3. Prof. (Dr.) Maya S., Professor in Education, Mar Theophilus Training College

4. Dr. Salini Anil, Principal, SNGK B. Ed. College

               The morning session was a wonderful one, where we understood the base of fundamental research.


The afternoon session began at around 2:00pm. The topic of discussion was: ACTION RESEARCH . The session was handled by, 

Dr. Sangeetha

      Assistant Professor,

Sree Narayana Training College.

 


The workshop was very interactive. Each team was given a sheet of paper where we contributed a problem and the methods to tackle it . My team wrote ‘Different interest among students while learning Prose and Poem.’ 


Second Day (9/2/2024) 

The day began with prayer and without further delay we moved on to the academic session.

 The second day discussion was on the topic: DEVELOPMENT OF TOOLS. The topic was handled by ,

The Department of English at PTM College of Education, Trivandrum, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a workshop titled "Creative Classroom: English Teaching Aids" on May 24, 2024. This event, part of the College-based Practical Activities (CPA) Phase 3 initiative, aimed to enhance the practical teaching skills of aspiring educators through the use of innovative teaching aids. The workshop was held at CP Sreekantan Nair Memorial Hall, P.T.M.C.E, starting at 10 AM. It featured Mr. Abhilash R., a highly experienced Higher Secondary School Teacher (HSST) of English from Govt. VHSS Aryanad, Thiruvananthapuram, as the resource person.
