WEEK 5- TEACHING PRACTICE



 On 1/01/2024 we continued our teaching practice after 10 day christmas holidays. Students were eagerly waiting for their examination results. They are very pleased to see us . The next day was holiday because it was celebrated as mannam jayanthi day.

On 3/01/2024 I reached school at 9:25 am and the morning prayer started at usual time 9:55 am . On second period I went to 9B and on the fifth period I went to 9B and started a new poem . I went into a conversation with them to enquire about the experience they have during their over all second term examination.

On 4/01/2024 I have 2 classes for 9A on 6th period  and 9B on 7th period. On both classes I started to continue teaching my portions. Students eagerly payed attention to the class and responded correctly.

On 5/01/2024 the day starts usually with morning prayer and ends with national anthem. Today I went to 9A on 1st period and went to 9B on 5th period. I have them notes of the poem I taught them on the last class.

WORKSHOP

The Department of English at PTM College of Education, Trivandrum, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a workshop titled "Creative Classroom: English Teaching Aids" on May 24, 2024. This event, part of the College-based Practical Activities (CPA) Phase 3 initiative, aimed to enhance the practical teaching skills of aspiring educators through the use of innovative teaching aids. The workshop was held at CP Sreekantan Nair Memorial Hall, P.T.M.C.E, starting at 10 AM. It featured Mr. Abhilash R., a highly experienced Higher Secondary School Teacher (HSST) of English from Govt. VHSS Aryanad, Thiruvananthapuram, as the resource person.
